Having your background check completed for work is a common, sometimes required step in the hiring process to ensure that their employees are clear of criminal history. Some examples include law firms, notary public, security companies, real estate agents. Licensing is also part of the private employment for jobs such as immigration consulting, real estate licensing and much more.
A security clearance is a status granted to individuals allowing them access to classified information or to restricted areas. Certain employment contracted by the government or employment within the government will require a security clearance completed. For example, painters, electricians, clerks, engineers and much more.
